Aron Faegre's older brother Tor was a brilliant anthropologist (see his book Tents: Architecture of the Nomads), sculptor, and carpenter. Many years ago Tor taught Aron how to be a carpenter, how to build yurts, and how to ride a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Aron often turned to Tor for advice in how to find a creative solution to a difficult design problem. Tor passed away at age 68 in 2009. This link keeps his twig sculpture web site alive:
